Requirements |
The
following are requirements for server and client installations.
For requirements for each component, see the Readme file
available in the setup program.
Server Requirements
If you are installing all of the Ipswitch Collaboration
Suite components on a single server, the following are the
minimum server requirements. If you are planning a different
configuration, see the Readme file.
- Windows® 2000 Server, Windows®
2003 Server
- Pentium III 500 MHz of higher (multiple
processors recommenced for high mail traffic rates)
- 256 MB minimum of RAM
- Static IP
address with properly configured TCP/IP connection
- One Network
Interface Card configured to use TCP/IP
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer
5.0 or later
- A broadband
connection to the internet
Client Requirements
For the Instant Messaging client and the WorkgroupShare
client, you will need:
The operating systems for the Instant
Messaging Client:
- Windows®
98, Windows® Me, Windows® 2000 Professional,
Windows® NT, Windows® XP
The operating systems for
the WorkgroupShare Client:
- Windows®
2000 Professional, Windows® NT, Windows® XP
- Pentium
350 MHz (or equivalent)
- 64 MB RAM
- Properly configured TCP/IP connection
- Microsoft Outlook® 2000 or later (not required
for Instant Messaging)
Note: WorkgroupShare
does not work with Microsoft® Outlook Express.
